AB Tyres is part of the Alves Bandeira Group which has has 16 companies under its wings, operating in the international market. The new Alves Bandeira Group results from the merger of companies linked to the Alves Bandeira and Petroibérica groups .
On January 9, 2014, the merger was formalized. Following it, the Group reorganized (integrating, merging and transforming) the previous companies belonging to these two Groups (29 companies), in order to create the new Alves Bandeira Group (16 companies). With this reorganization, carried out during 2014, the Group was formed with a coherent organization, within the principles of responsibility (economic, financial and social) for each of the companies.
