Infinity Tyres, part of the Al Dobowi Group, has announced two new appointments in European leadership positions. Mitchell Peeters and Riccardo Costa, formerly of Goodyear, have joined the company in the roles of executive director and general manager Europe respectively, operating out of a new European sales office, based in Madrid, Spain.
Combined, Peeters and Costa bring over 40 years of diverse experience of the international tyre market having previously held senior executive positions with Pirelli and most recently Goodyear.
Commenting on the news, Surender Singh Kandhari stated: “Both Mitch and Riccardo bring with them vast industry knowledge and experience which will help cement the position of Al Dobowi as a leading provider of tyres to the European market. For the past 15 years our Infinity and Eternity brands have become household names in Europe, widely praised for their quality and price. To ensure that the Al Dobowi Group continues to deliver exceptional customer service we welcome Mitch and Riccardo to the Al Dobowi family.”
Peeters states: “Joining a world renowned company such as Al Dobowi is a real privilege for both Riccardo and I. For many years we have witnessed the growth of the Infinity and Eternity brands and are delighted that we can now contribute to their further growth and success.
Our number one priority is to better service our European based customers, but following that we firmly believe further expansion into Africa and North America is a natural step.”
Costa further comments: “In order to grow our European business we will provide marketing activities focused on ensuring the sales of our products through our partners in the local markets supported by value added programmes.”
